The Owner of the Male named above and the Owner of the Female named above agree to the following terms and conditions of this Stud Service Contract:

The Owner of the Female agrees to have the Female tested for Brucellosis by a licensed veterinarian within 10 days prior to breeding and to provide the Owner of the Male a statement from the veterinarian indicating a negative result for the test.

The Owner of the Male will observe and supervise each breeding of the Male to the Female. After the first successful breeding, the Owner of the Male will grant to the Owner of the Female up to two additional breeding sessions (at the option of the Owner of the Female). The first attempt to breed will be on or about the ninth day of the heat cycle of the Female (as determined by the Owner of the Female). If not successful, then attempts will be repeated no more often than once a day until successful. After the first successful breeding, each subsequent breeding will be attempted as close as possible to 48 hours after the previous successful breeding.

The Owner of the Male will receive as payment for the stud service (check all that apply):

□ A fee of $ ________ , payable immediately upon completion of the first successful mating. [If the breeding fails to produce at least one puppy born alive, then this fee (less $100.00) will be refunded to the Owner of the Female.]

□ Pick of the litter at the age of 4 weeks and a viewing of the litter as soon as possible after whelping. [Owner of the Female will provide the first puppy shot.] The Owner of the Female will deliver the puppy and its AKC Registration Application form, properly completed and signed, to the Owner of the Male. Upon this delivery, the Owner of the Male will refund $________ to the Owner of the Female.

The Owner of the Male is not obligated to sign an AKC Litter Registration Application form until the stud fee has been paid.

The Owner of the Male certifies that the Male is in good health and is current in all required shots.

The Owner of the Female certifies that the Female is in good health and is current in all required shots.
